What Projects Do I Teach in my Classes?
I so have you covered here!
I absolutely LOVE coming of with ideas and projects to teach in a sewing class.
In fact over the past several years that has become a big part of what I do.
Instead of teaching students in just my town.
I make videos to teach students around the world.
And to share with other moms and grandmas (like you) who want to teach sewing.
My videos for years have been used by home schoolers, but they can also be used in a sewing classes to teach a group of students, or a workshop.
I have many course options for you to teach!
Currently I have over 12 courses from 8 weeks to 16 weeks that you can teach in your sewing classes.
So, if you were to get a teacher license for all of them it would be over two years of sewing classes and workshops.
These projects include:
-doll clothing & accessories
-all simple enough for beginning and intermediate students.
But, it gets better because I have so many more planned that are in the filming / editing stage. I promise you will find out about them as they are released.
You really don't have to worry about what to teach class.
With a teachers license you can play my videos in your sewing classes, so students can watch and do. This saves you time from showing each one how to do each step.
It also saves you time from having to come up with and test your own projects.
Also in my Sewing Fashionistas courses I also teach simple pattern making, so girls learn multiple skills, not just sewing.
Future classes include fashion design for girls and teens.
- Little Fashion Designers
- Road to the Runway
I'm so excited to start on these programs...they are going to be great!
Your Next Step!
So, if you join me in my 12-Week Start Up Training you will get access to 2 of my beginning girls courses for free. Plus discount on all further teacher licenses as well.
Now do I know everything about sewing or teach it all? No!
But I keep it simple and fun for beginners.
My videos are calm and laid back...with a very can do vibe.
Many of my young (8 to 12 year old) online students go through them on their own with very little help from their moms.
This is actually where the idea of teaching sewing classes using my videos came from.
It's all evolving perfectly!
I didn't originally create my online classes with the purpose of other to teach sewing classes, but they have evolved to fit for teaching in sewing classes perfectly.
All lessons broken out into bite-size steps for each class, so they are super simple to follow along with for students.
I'm super excited about this and if you join me in talking the next step.
I can't wait to hear how it goes in your sewing class.
